Renovations and new services

All sorts of work has been going on in recent months to enhance the comfort and convenience of the amenities we have to offer at Brussels Expo. For example, there has been the automation and resurfacing of the car parks at the front of the main building, the replacement of the stone road base with asphalt right around the site, new restrooms in Hall 5, the repainting of all the halls and meeting rooms, the installation of new mobile and fixed smoker shelters, complete with new dustbins and ashtrays, recharger terminals for smartphones, open Wi-Fi (Cisco Systems) in all of the meeting rooms – the list goes on.

There are plenty of other improvements planned for the end of the year, too, such as new shutters in Halls 3, 4, 5 and 6, insulation of the sliding doors in all of the exhibition halls, replacement of the restrooms in Hall 1, plus the refurbishment of the ones in Halls 2, 4, 6 and Hall Astrid, replacement of the Patio doors and the sprucing up of the passageways between the Halls.

Also this year we have been able to introduce new high added-value services for our customers, including the Webshop that enables exhibitors to tap into a series of services, plus a new accreditation system and totally secure ticketing system.
