New Entertainment Director at Brussels Expo

New Entertainment Director at Brussels Expo
Fabrizio Gentile joins the team

Currently Managing Director Benelux for Deezer, Fabrizio Gentile will become part of the Brussels Expo team on 1st March.

This 45-year-old Brusselite has over 20 years’ experience in the music sector and in business development, including international positions for the PIAS label. His expertise will be very useful to Brussels Expo in his new role, which will primarily involve optimising the programmes of its concert halls, namely Le Palais 12, La Madeleine, the Brussels Summer Festival and, in the near future, Le Cirque Royal.

The scope of his new activities for Brussels Expo will also encompass the development and global management of the Entertainment arm, Brussels Expo’s reputation in this sector, the experience of and relations with clients, partners and the public, the profitability of activities and the management of the hub’s Human Resources.

“I am delighted to be able to enhance our Entertainment arm’s teams by bringing in a professional from the music business with a wealth of experience in development and internationally. Alongside our historic business of hosting fairs, exhibitions and events, our Entertainment hub is expanding and, in a few months, will be taking a new departure with the management of the Cirque Royal. Exciting new challenges await us in terms of promoting our ecosystem of venues, which is now in the capable hands of Fabrizio Gentile”, declares Denis Delforge, CEO of Brussels Expo.

“Reinforcing the team of professionals in place within Brussels Expo’s Entertainment arm is a particularly motivating challenge. The various concert halls and theatres are highly complementary and possess interesting synergies. The development potential is still great, which is what makes this role so fascinating. I’m especially delighted to have the chance to work on the consolidation and development of these iconic Brussels venues”, explains Fabrizio Gentile, the newly appointed Entertainment Director.

Brussels Expo’s Entertainment arm was created in 2013 with the opening of Le Palais 12 as a 15,000-seater concert and entertainment hall. With La Madeleine, the Brussels Summer Festival and Le Cirque Royal, it boasts a solid offering of music and entertainment which plays a significant part in the profitability of the Brussels Expo group.
