Lord of the Dance was born out of Michael Flatley's dream to create the world's greatest Irish dance show. Forged from his ambition and a world-beating performance at the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, Lord of the Dance is the culmination of Michael Flatley's belief that "Nothing is impossible. Follow your dreams."

Since its premiere in Dublin in 1996, Michael Flatley's Lord Of The Dance has been performed in over 1000 venues around the world and has attracted over 60 million spectators in 60 different countries on all continents, making it one of the most popular dance productions in the world.

The show will move into high gear in 2022 for its 25th anniversary. Fans can look forward to new staging, costumes and choreography by Michael Flatley, as well as state-of-the-art special lighting effects.

The show will feature 40 of the world's most outstanding young artists, directed by Michael Flatley, with new music by composer Gerard Fahy. This new version will combine the best of tradition with the novelty of completely new music and dance.

Michael Flatley says: "I am very excited to finally bring Lord of the Dance back to a Parisian venue in 2022. I feel like this is the most important tour in our 25 year history! The return of art to our lives is incredibly important. I hope the tour will help put a smile on everyone's face..."

Michael will revive the original Lord of the Dance show and update it for new generations of fans. Called a "showpiece extravaganza" by the Los Angeles Times, Lord of the Dance attracts more than 150,000 "clacks" per performance and transports audiences to a mythical time and place, sweeping hearts away in a whirlwind of movement, razor-sharp steps, artistic lighting and pyrotechnics.

Lord of the Dance has received unprecedented acclaim and broken audience records around the world. Michael Flatley's creation not only put Irish dance on the world stage, it took the art form to a new level, brought it unprecedented global recognition and instantly anchored it in the hearts and minds of millions of people around the world.

Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance has dazzled audiences around the world with its unique combination of dynamic Irish dance, original music, storytelling and sensuality. This hugely popular Irish dance show transcends culture and language, soaring to the soul with breathtaking aerial movement, unparalleled precision in step and high theatrical effects.

The secret of its phenomenal success lies largely in the fact that the show appeals to everyone, transcending age, gender and cultural boundaries. A timelessness and universality that has made Lord of the Dance one of the modern wonders of the world and a myth, a living legend.
